Childhood trauma can cast a long shadow over our lives. It can leave scars that seem to define us, but I want you to remember something crucial today: You
are not defined by your past. You are defined by your resilience and your ability to overcome.
The journey to becoming a comeback champion begins with acknowledging the pain and hurt that you've experienced. It's not about denying your past; it's about owning it. You see, the scars we carry aren't signs of weakness; they are badges of strength. They show that you've survived, that you've endured, and
that you're still standing.
Today, I would like to share with you a glimpse of how I found my personal blueprint for peace and happiness. This process has blossomed into my philosophy for coaching those who suffer from childhood trauma. Once I acknowledged that sex, drugs, and alcohol were ways I covered up untreated childhood trauma, I could start peeling back the onion, layer after layer, exposing the feelings associated with childhood trauma. This process is the same one used in my coaching program. It involves peeling back of oneself, acknowledging the facts – yes, I said facts. One of my mentors constantly reminds me that if the information is in my head, it is fiction. Once it is on paper, it becomes fact. The blueprint to peace and happiness lies in putting pen to paper and seeing the facts! Trauma is a fact of life. It does not, however, have to be a life sentence.” — Peter A. Levine
During this journey developing a tribe that will support you and not Condon you is very important. I’m sure you ask, why would someone Condon you, you are the one the trauma happened to, trust me when it comes out its is some that will be wondering if and how deep you are going to go. Don’t worry, find those that can listen, without judgement and if all else fell I have a support system where you can be you and be around others that have been through some of some of the same things you have. Either way know that I’m here for you and I have a plethora of tools that can help in your journey to finding the blueprint to more peace and happiness by discovering, discarding and dealing with Childhood Trauma. Closing: "Up next, we're building your ultimate toolkit for peace.
“Humans don’t mind hardship, in fact, they thrive on it; what they mind is not feeling necessary.” — Sebastian Junger
